KraftPowercon launches new High Voltage rectifier

The new high voltage rectifier - SmartKraft2, combines the latest Electrostatic Precipitator power supply technology with a unique controller in a solution suitable for air pollution control in heavy industries such as CPPs, Metals, Cement and Biomass power generation.

In light of industry-wide needs to meet stricter emission regulations and reduce operating costs, KraftPowercon as manufacturer of power supply technology since the early 70s, launches a new solution to handle these challenges while securing effective and efficient electrostatic precipitator (ESP) operations.

“SmartKraft2 combines the latest power supply technology with a versatile controller. At any time, it automatically adjusts power for optimized performance, whatever the load,” says Reza Sharafy, Global High Voltage Product Manager at KraftPowercon. Adding that users can expect more predictable ESP operations.

Smartkraft 2 includes a high-frequency power supply and the MikroKraft4 controller that automatically adjusts the ESP power supply parameters, supports most communication protocols, controls high-frequency and single- and three-phase power supplies and has V/I curve and datalogger functions.

A significant advantage of SmartKraft2 is that users looking at an ESP upgrade, don’t need to add another field which drives cost, but rather replace or retrofit their older solution with SmartKraft2.

With SmartKraft2, users get better control of their ESP with less human interaction. The controller’s graphic interface improves the understanding of performance and permits controlling issues like spark and back corona.
