Krea, Sweden's financing service for businesses, recently closed a financing round of 7 MSEK adding a selection of new investors to the ownership list. One of the new investors is ExM Investment Partners, a network of business angels with a background in the consulting company McKinsey & Company. With the newly raised capital, Krea continues its growth journey on the SME loan markets in Sweden and Finland.

Krea continues to grow, increasing its revenue with 100% from 2021 to 2022 and now has over SEK 1.7 billion in brokered credit volume. With this capital injection, the company will continue to develop its service; to offer small and medium-sized companies seamless access to capital with the best possible terms.

ExM Investment Partners ("ExM") joins as a new investor in Krea, a network of business angels where all the founders have worked in senior positions at McKinsey & Company. ExM are active investors with a focus on supporting companies with a high growth potential, a clear and proven business model and a strong management and organization.

Fredrik Lundahl, founder and CEO at Krea: “We are delighted to add ExM to our investor group and we look forward to benefiting from their broad experience and knowledge within strategy and business development.”

Peter Andén, founder of ExM and chairman of the board of Krea: “Krea has succeeded in establishing itself as a leading platform for financing small and medium-sized companies. We look forward to following and contributing to an exciting growth journey in the coming years."

In addition to ExM, additional new investors have participated in the same round. Among others Tomas Billing, former CEO of Nordstjernan AB, Philip Tropp through the angel network FBTC Invest AB and Peter Lindström. Krea has since before owners such as Håkan Roos through RoosGruppen AB and Mariana Burenstam Linder.
