Kreatel strengthens its financial position with 32.7 million SEK LINKÖPING, SWEDEN, May 6, 2002 - A new share issue in Kreatel Communications AB was decided upon at a shareholders' meeting. As a first step, five institutional owners have contributed with 32.7 million SEK. The owners participating in this first step were ABN AMRO Nordic Ventures NV, Bure Equity, Innovationskapital, SEB Företagsinvest and the 6:e AP-fonden (6th Swedish National Pension Fund). The financing will be concluded during May. This share issue will secure the development and marketing of the Kreatel products for broadband services, a market that operators around the world now are focusing on. - With this financial addition, we are growing stronger and can meet our customers with a strong position and can fulfill the trust they have in us.
