Queen Anne Studio Offers Beginner to Advanced Yoga Classes and Teacher Certification

Denver-based yoga company CorePower Yoga will open its 5th studio in the greater Seattle area on Friday, January 24th. This marks the 93rd studio opening nationwide for CorePower Yoga.

Located on the ground floor of the Ava Queen Anne apartment building, right along the Lake-to-Bay pedestrian loop, the Queen Anne Studio will offer a variety of yoga class styles for all levels, including CorePower Yoga’s dynamic heated Power Yoga in beginner to advanced formats, Yoga Sculpt and Hot Power Fusion. In addition to classes, Queen Anne will offer Yoga Teacher Training, as well as Lifestyle Programs such as boot camps and wellness cleanses to provide students with cross-training opportunities.

“CorePower Yoga fits so seamlessly into Queen Anne’s historic, yet urban neighborhood setting,” said Bryna Fahrner, CorePower Yoga’s Queen Anne Studio Manager. “Having helped open Ballard, CPY’s first Seattle studio, it has been amazing to watch as each CPY Seattle studio thereafter has come alive with their own, unique community.”

The Queen Anne Studio is home to two spacious yoga rooms and features a range of amenities including luxurious changing rooms, showers and private lockers. A full retail boutique will showcase men’s and women’s activewear, as well as a variety of accessories to meet your yoga and lifestyle needs.

Students who are new to CorePower Yoga will receive one week of unlimited free yoga classes. A variety of membership package options are also available.

Last year, CorePower Yoga received a significant investment from Catterton Partners, the leading consumer-focused private equity firm, which has accelerated growth. CorePower Yoga’s expansion plans include approximately 20 new studio openings in 2014, reaching new markets such as San Jose, San Francisco and Dallas.
