Kustom partners with WooCommerce: expanding reach across one of the world’s largest e-commerce networks

Kustom is entering a partnership with WooCommerce, one of the world’s most widely used e-commerce platforms. Through the integration, Kustom’s checkout will become available to WooCommerce’s network of more than 4 million active online stores across more than 200 countries. As part of the partnership, Kustom will become a recommended checkout solution for Nordic merchants within WooCommerce’s ecosystem, strengthening its global reach and giving more merchants access to a checkout built for high conversion, low complexity and greater control.

WooCommerce is an open-source e-commerce platform built on WordPress and used by millions of merchants worldwide, with a particularly strong presence in Europe and the US. Through the new partnership, Kustom’s checkout will become available to a global network of more than 4 million active online stores across more than 200 countries (StoreLeads.app, June 2026). With WooCommerce powering just over 32 percent of all e-commerce, Kustom reaches a significantly broader network of merchants.

As part of the partnership, Kustom will become a recommended checkout solution for Nordic merchants within WooCommerce’s ecosystem. This marks a strategic milestone in the company’s ambition to strengthen its Nordic position while continuing to grow across Europe and globally.

Through the partnership, WooCommerce merchants can add Kustom’s checkout directly into their existing ecosystem, giving them access to a modern checkout solution designed to reduce friction in the purchase journey and increase completed purchases. The solution is easy to implement, scalable over time and customizable to local markets and customer preferences. The integration also gives merchants access to continuous product improvements, new payment methods and features as Kustom’s offering evolves.

“Starting an e-commerce business has become easier than ever. Growing it profitably is harder. WooCommerce has helped millions of merchants build their online presence. Through our partnership, we can give more of them access to a checkout that combines simplicity, flexibility and conversion in one solution,” says Jesper Eriksson, Chief Commercial Officer at Kustom.

The partnership is built on a clear shared logic. WooCommerce helps merchants and developers build and customize online stores based on their own needs through an open-source plugin. Kustom brings the same flexibility to the checkout through an open ecosystem of payment methods, features and partners, making it easier for merchants to grow without being locked into a single provider.

“Payments are at the heart of every merchant's business,” offered Gary Schofield, General Manager, Payments at Woo. “Through our partnership with Kustom, we're expanding what's possible for WooCommerce merchants around the world—giving them access to a high-converting checkout experience that helps them grow, scale, and serve customers wherever they do business.“
