Kvaser gets prestige order for Scania after market tools. Kvaser, a leading systems integrator of CAN software and hardware to the global market, today announced that it has recieved a prestige order for a substantial part for Scanias next generation of after market tools, called VCI II. "We are encouraged of the confidence Scania has shown in our abilities and proud to be recognised as a Scania supplier of key compenents", says Joachim Fritzson, marketing manager at Kvaser in a comment. " We did pick Kvaser as supplier in hard competition with other companies and we trust that Kvaser will be a good partner for the further development process", says Mrs Susann Sonesson, Responsible Purchaser, Scania Parts Purchasing. The first production deliveries will start in early spring 2003. Kvaser, head quartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a company developing software and hardware products for advanced real time systems (RTOS-S), with its core know-how in the CAN- and Bluetooth protocols.
