Kyro Corporation STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT 17 August, 2001 1.00 pm ACQUIRING OF KYRO CORPORATION'S OWN SHARES According to the authorisation of the Extraordinary Shareholder's Meeting on 12 June, 2001 the Board of Directors of Kyro Corporation has on 17 August, 2001 decided to acquire maximum amount of 1,980,000 (one million ninehundredeightythousand) own shares through the public trade in Helsinki Exchanges at the market value in acquiring. The company will inform separately the starting date of the acquire and it will end June 12, 2002 at the latest.
