TECNOMEN RECEIVES FIM 11 MILLION ORDER FROM THAILAND Tecnomen Corp. will deliver a new voice mail system to the Thai Total Acces Communication (TAC) and expand the company's existing prepaid system. The delivery is worth USD 1,746,000 or approximately FIM 11 million. Total Acces Communication is Thailand's second largest mobile telephone operator, with over one million subscribers. The delivery is significant because the system will be supplied to a customer who used another supplier's system earlier. The number of subscribers for TAC's prepaid system for phone calls has grown rapidly and the system's capacity will be expanded to 250,000 users in connection with the voice mail system delivery. "Total Acces Communication is a good example of a Tecnomen customer who first began using our Prepaid System and thereafter our Voice Mail System. This delivery establishes a good foundation for other new expansions and Unified Messaging deliveries to this rapidly growing operator," says Teconmen's President and CEO Vesa Helkkula.
