FLEETWOOD RV HOSTS GOVERNOR MITCH DANIELS AND THE INDIANA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

Decatur, Ind. – (March 22, 2012) – Fleetwood RV’s bolstering growth brought Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) board of directors to the headquarters in Decatur today.

Fleetwood RV, a leading manufacturer of Class A and Class C recreational vehicles, relocated its headquarters to Decatur in 2009 after consolidating its California and Pennsylvania manufacturing operations. The IEDC invested up to $9 million in performance-based tax credits and up to $100,000 in training grants based on the company’s accelerated job creation plans. The company currently employs 1,106 employees at the Decatur manufacturing facility and recently hired 170 temporary employees to work on a four-month project.
