Lagercrantz acquires Dooman Teknik AB

Today Lagercrantz Group has acquired all shares in the Swedish company Dooman Teknik AB.

Dooman offers products in the field of home adaptations for disabled people with garage modules for disability vehicles as a main product. The customers mainly consist of Swedish municipalities. Dooman generates annual sales of approximately MSEK 25 with good profitability.

“Dooman is an attractive company, which with its products has reached a market-leading position in its niche. Dooman will be the eighth product company in our Niche Products division,” says Jörgen Wigh, President and CEO of Lagercrantz Group.

Dennis Lewrén, former owner of Dooman: “We have been working with technology for disabled people for more than 30 years and have helped to develop many simple and smart solutions. With Lagercrantz, Dooman gets a long-term and financially strong owner.”

Dooman will form part of the Lagercrantz Niche Products division as from February 2015. The acquisition is expected to generate a small positive addition to the Group’s earnings per share on an annual basis.
