Lagercrantz acquires GM Scientific in the UK
Lagercrantz Group’s subsidiary Radonova Laboratories has today acquired 100% of the shares in GM Scientific Ltd. Both Radonova and GM Scientific are present in the field of radon measurement.
GM Scientific was established in 2018 and is based in Bristol, UK, and produces high-quality polymeric sensors used in radon detectors and neutron dosimetry. By acquiring GM Scientific, Radonova will continue its expansion in Europe by establishing a new hub for the UK and Ireland.
“With GM Scientific Ltd, Radonova Laboratories will broaden its range of high-quality radon sensor technology and continue its expansion in Europe as the global leader in radon measurement.” says Karl Nilsson, CEO of Radonova Laboratories AB.
GM Scientific will operate as a subsidiary of Radonova Laboratories, part of the Lagercrantz division Control. The acquisition is expected to have a marginal impact on the Lagercrantz Group's earnings per share on an annual basis.
