Lagercrantz acquires Tebul Oy
Lagercrantz has today acquired 80% of the shares in Tebul Oy, a leading producer of watertight electric sliding doors.
Tebul is a leading manufacturer of watertight electric sliding doors for ships. The doors are part of the watertight bulkheads in the hull of the ships. The customers are mainly European shipyards that build yachts, cruise ships and ferries. Tebul is based in Lieto in southwestern Finland. Tebul Oy will be part of the International Division from September 2022. CEO Jussi Uusitalo continues as a minority owner with 20% of the shares in the company. The acquisition is expected to generate a small positive contribution to Lagercrantz Group's earnings per share on an annual basis.
