Lagercrantz Group sells a business and concentrates on its strategic orientation The Lagercrantz Group sells its business in information and payment systems to an international group of companies, PC-PoS (Europe) Ltd. The business sold has annual revenues of about MSEK 100 and a staff of about 20 in the Nordic Region. Selling the business will have no effect on Lagercrantz Group earnings. PC-Pos is an international producer and distributor focusing solely on the market for information and payment systems. In our judgment, PC-PoS possesses excellent opportunities of developing the business further in the Nordic Region. Chief Executive Jan Friis says in a comment: "The sale should be seen in the context of our long-term strategy of concentrating the Group's business to core operations. This will enhance future opportunities for profitable growth in the priority areas of electronics and communication." Stockholm, March 8, 2002 Lagercrantz Group AB (publ) Jan Friis, President, +46-8-700 66 70 or Per Ikov, Executive Vice President, +46-8-700 66 70, will be glad to answer questions. ------------------------------------------------------------ This information was brought to you by Waymaker http://www.waymaker.net The following files are available for download: http://www.waymaker.net/bitonline/2002/03/08/20020308BIT00090/wkr0001.doc http://www.waymaker.net/bitonline/2002/03/08/20020308BIT00090/wkr0002.pdf
