  • Landcatch team plans to survey delegates at Aquaculture UK
  • Unique approach to delivering international business
  • Responses will influence future customer service

Visitors to the Landcatch stand at the prestigious Aquaculture UK event in Aviemore this month could help influence how the company develops future customer service.

The Landcatch team – managing director Neil Manchester; genetics director Alan Tinch; head of freshwater production David Danson; head of broodstock production Keith Drynan; genotyping manager José Mota Velasco; and office administrator Louise Curtis – will be based at Stand 83 at the aquaculture industry’s premier UK exhibition and conference on 28 and 29 May.

They will be highlighting the ‘four pillars’ of business values that their parent company, the multi-national Hendrix Genetics, enshrines in its business dealings.

Visiting delegates will be offered a business card on which the four pillars are printed – value creation, collaboration, innovation and sustainability – and asked to rate them in their preferred order of importance.

The information gathered will be fed back to Hendrix Genetics and used to help shape future customer service plans the world over.

Neil Manchester said: “The way we do business is important and this survey will help Landcatch and Hendrix Genetics to understand more about what our clients really want.”

Aquaculture UK is the industry’s premier UK exhibition and conference, when more than 100 exhibitors and 1,000 visitors from 27 countries will see the latest products and innovations.

The Landcatch team will be showcasing to manufacturers and suppliers from around the world its genetic advances that are helping select the best salmon for breeding.

With its partners, the company has developed the SNP chip genomic selection tool which allows breeders to pick fish that are more robust, perform better and are more resistant to disease.
