Länsförsäkringar has the most satisfied bank customers in Sweden According to a recent survey conducted by the Swedish Quality Index (SKI), Länsförsäkringar is unmatched in having the most satisfied banking customers. In all categories, from products to service, Länsförsäkringar ranks high above all the other banks. "The finest a company can receive is a high ranking from its customers," says Tomas Johansson, Managing Director of Länsförsäkringar Bank. "Having Sweden's most-satisfied customers makes us proud and at the same time is confirmation of our employees' good work. Customers have assigned us a great trust, which we now must safeguard and nurture." SKI's survey is based on 8,000 customer interviews and measures various factors that are then weighed together for a total rating. Länsförsäkringar's total score was a full 75.8, which is significantly higher than other banks and compared with the average index of 67.8. Länsförsäkringar was ranked highest in all categories of the survey: image, expectations, products, service, value for money, satisfaction and loyalty. "We have a close relationship with our customers as a result of Länsförsäkringar's local presence, with 24 regional companies and 82 offices nationwide. Länsförsäkringar is no longer a bank that attracts customers for supplementary banking services. Today, it is a bank with full services that customers switch to," says Tomas Johansson. Länsförsäkringar's banking operations began in 1996 as a so-called niche bank but today, in contrast to other banks with this background, it has broadened its strategy and customer offering to become a full-service bank. An ever-increasingly number of customers are discovering the benefits of Länsförsäkringar's total offering. "Growth has been, and continues to be, very high. During the past two years mortgage lending has more than quadrupled and the number of bank customers has increased by 28 percent during the most recent 12 months. Länsförsäkringar accounts for nearly 10 percent of the growth in the Swedish home mortgage market in 2004," reports Tomas Johansson.
