Länsförsäkringar offers cash services at Forex

On May 19, Länsförsäkringar signed an agreement with Forex Bank covering cash services. Beginning this autumn, Länsförsäkringar’s bank customers will have the possibility of depositing and withdrawing cash at all Forex bank outlets in Sweden. Customers can also withdraw cash at all ICA supermarkets and in all ATMs nationwide.

“Through this agreement we can continue to offer our customers convenient cash services. Less than 1 percent of our customers’ transactions are carried out through cashiers. Accordingly, this is an important service issue for us,” says Johan Nyman, Manager Savings & Payments, Länsförsäkringar AB.

Previously, Länsförsäkringar has offered customers manual cash service through Svensk Kassaservice (Swedish Cashier Service), which is being discontinued at year-end 2008. More than 99 percent of customers’ transactions are carried out through card purchases, ATM withdrawals or via the Internet.
