Lantra Sector Skills Council and the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) are looking for six passionate farmers in the North West to become the region’s first farming ambassadors.The farming ambassador programme is offering 80% funding to support six farmers in the North West to learn how to talk to the media, develop their presentation skills and understand how to chair meetings. This will help them raise the profile of farming in the region and encourage young people to get involved.
