On Sunday 4th October 2015, hundreds of women will descend on Hyde Park in London to take part in the Run with the Girls women’s 10km.

The Run with the Girls 10km route will take participants through quiet paths of the Royal Park, past the Serpentine Lake and Long Water. The course will be perfect for beginners and also fast for anyone chasing a personal best.

Richard Xerri, Founder and Director of organising company, Perseverance Events, says: “We are really thrilled to be organising this event in Hyde Park as it is such an iconic London park. We wanted to organise a women’s event to show our support of getting more women active and providing a women’s run provides them with a fun and friendly environment to run as an individual or as part of a team with friends.”

The event has partnered with A Mile in Her Shoes, which continues the theme of supporting and encouraging more women to take part in running, whatever their background or ability level.

Nicola Miller, Founder of A Mile in Her Shoes, says: “Working with Run with the Girls will give us the opportunity to highlight how running can really make a difference to women’s lives. Our charity helps women to try running as a way of exercising, socialising, lifting confidence and boosting self-esteem. The donations from this event are sure to make a real difference to what we do on a daily basis.”

Alongside the main charity, A Mile in Her Shoes, the event has also partnered with Less Bounce who will be providing prizes for the top 3 winners and Whole Foods Market, Kensington who will provide goody bags for all participants.
