Comments to the co-operation between Framfab and Volvo IT With reference to the attention surrounding the co-operation between Framfab and one of AB Volvo's subsidiaries, Volvo IT - not to be to confused with Volvo Car Corporation or AB Volvo - Framfab announces the following: Framfab is co-operating with several parties within Volvo. Framfab is primarily working with Ford-owned Volvo Car Corporation in the areas Internet solutions and e-business. Furthermore, Framfab is a direct supplier to AB Volvo and its subsidiaries, among them Volvo Trucks, in the same areas. Volvo IT, which forms a part of the AB Volvo group, is also one of Framfab's clients, primarily of traditional IT services. Guide, today a part of Framfab, was during 1998/99 one out of four preferred suppliers of IT services to Volvo IT and works under a frame agreement. In March this year the frame agreement was transferred from Guide to Framfab. Today the frame agreement includes only traditional IT services. The details of this co-operation are being discussed between Framfab and Volvo IT. Until the discussions are finished, Volvo IT has decided not to use the frame agreement. The co-operations between Framfab, Volvo Car Corporation and the other subsidiaries of AB Volvo are pursued as scheduled. The discussions on the subject of the future co-operation between Framfab and Volvo IT are held in a positive spirit and in spite of the frame agreement not currently being used, the ongoing projects are continuing.
