Framfab behind Nike's major web venture Today, Nike launches its major web venture inviting European football fans to its new www.nikefootball.com web site. The web site, which has been produced by Framfab, will be launched simultaneously all over Europe. The web site will be presented in eight languages - English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian and Swedish. Months of work lie behind the production of the web site, which has been organised from the Framfab office in Copenhagen. The campaign will be one of the most ambitious cross media initiatives seen so far. It involves over 500 Internet cafes, stadium advertising, both the Niketowns in Europe and a huge TV commercial campaign. The web site includes features such as live chats with some of Europe's most popular football players, a description of the new gear and a new game built on the same theme as the commercial. The combination web site/commercials gives Nike a unique chance to communicate with football fans. The web will continue its affiliation with Nike's offline communications, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the world of football. Jonas Birgersson, CEO Framfab, is proud that Nike Europe has chosen Framfab as its strategic Internet partner. "Nike is one of the biggest and most exciting brands in the world and I am very pleased that Framfab has been entrusted with participating in and further strengthening Nike's trademark", says Jonas Birgersson.
