Framfab behind revolutionary travel website Jan Carlzon and 2M Invest are behind TRAVIS.com - the most comprehensive travel booking system on the Internet in the Nordic countries. Today Travis is launching a groundbreaking travel booking system on the Internet - www.travis.com. The website will be launched in Danish, Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian and offers travellers a number of benefits never seen before. TRAVIS.com is the first on the market to present travellers with the real ticket price. The prices are shown minus a self service discount corresponding to the traditional agency commission of 4% - 15%. To use the service a "fixed click fee" of DKK 150 is charged per booking irrespective of the destination. This results in flight tickets at close to net prices. Another key innovation is that travellers are automatically offered cheaper alternative flights ("low fare search") - once again independent of airlines and travel agents. The website also has an advanced profile management system, which allows companies to manage their travel needs within individual departments, while travellers themselves get the chance to select their own travel preferences. Framfab Danmark has been involved in the entire development process and has also helped to develop TRAVIS' digital business strategy. "Getting TRAVIS.com up and running has been a major and exciting challenge which has involved more than 20 staff over more than six months. We're very proud of the result," says Peter Schmidt, Regional Director of Framfab Danmark. The development project has also involved the US company Getthere.com which is responsible for advanced searches of the Amadeus booking system.
