Framfab develops film and television portal The German company Various Artists GmbH has chosen Framfab to develop their portal for film and television. Starting in Spring 2001, http://www.mediatown.de will offer professional and background information, as well as a business platform for people in the film and television business. The project - that is a part of Framfab's industry service for Technology, Media and Telecom - will be managed by Framfab Germany. The website will offer the user up-to-the-minute news, as well as insider and background information about the media business. www.mediatown.de will present the German production scene with all the relevant data and facts and will give competent answers to questions about media law, taxes and insurance. A special highlight is the SMS service with current job offers. The B2B platform will allow companies in the fields of film and TV to present and market their offers online. The market place will focus not only on TV-studio owners, production companies, casting companies and actors' agencies, but also on service providers to the industry, like car- rental companies, catalog companies, travel agencies and hotels. The Various Artists GmbH was founded by the television director Martin Nowak and the former RTL-producer Gabriele Kaiser. "We are happy to have gained one of the most innovative Internet service providers as our partner. Framfab has the all the know-how necessary for our portal solution", said Martin Nowak, CEO of Various Artists GmbH.
