The Web Marketing Association has named the Alfa Laval Virtual Showroom site designed by Framfab as the Best B2B Online Campaign in its 2005 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards.

The project is a Flash-based campaign solution, several versions of which Framfab Malmö and Alfa Laval have worked on since 2003. The solution has been translated for, and launched in, over 30 of Alfa Laval’s markets around the world. "In cooperation with the Framfab team, we have put together a solution that clearly reflects Alfa Laval's innovative capacity while creating new channels to our clients in the global market," says Peter Torstensson, Director of Communications at Alfa Laval. "Awards like this are not only gratifying, but proof that our effort was well considered right from the start." Virtual Showroom is an experience-based solution that allows the visitor to view Alfa Laval’s latest products and services in a 3D, exhibition-like setting. The purpose of the campaign is to introduce new products to existing clients in order to position Alfa Laval as an innovative brand. Virtual Showroom is a technical and communicative breakthrough that employs Flash-based content management and offers proven business value for the client.
