Interim Report 1 January - 31 March 2000 Continued strong and profitable growth during the first quarter of 2000 * Sales during the first quarter of 2000 amounted to SEK 428.9 million (32.1). * During the quarter, the additional purchase price in Bredbandsbolaget was converted to shares, which led to an income of SEK 104 million for Framfab. * Operating profit after depreciation of tangible fixed assets (EBITA) amounted during the first quarter of 2000 to SEK 126.0 million (6.0). The corresponding margin amounted to 29.4 (18.8) per cent. * Profit after financial items (EBT) amounted during the first quarter of 2000 to SEK 110.6 (5.8) million, corresponding to a profit margin of 25.8 (18.2) per cent. * The number of employees amounted to approximately 2,050 as of 2 May. * During 2000, Guide Konsult AB, Mindfact in Germany, makeIT in Norway, eBizApps in USA, Tecma in Gothenburg, Netlinq in the Netherlands, and Halby, Kaag & Partners in Denmark have been acquired. * Framfab Innovation has built up an organisation with capacity to identify and develop Internet-related business projects. The health portal www.docco.com was launched. * The integration of the former Guide has passed several milestones; a joint organisation has been formed, work has been carried out in several integrated client projects, and operations within the former Guide have been streamlined through the sales of the business in Norway and the defence-related consulting business within Communicator AB. * Framfab believes in continued sales growth with profitability before amortisation of goodwill for the year 2000. Framfab's business concept is to create new business for the network economy through strategic advice and digital services.
