Mærsk Data to take over Framfab Office in Lund and Establish Subsidiary in Sweden As a first step in the establishment of a beach head on the Swedish market, Mærsk Data now creates a subsidiary in Lund in the south of Sweden. Mærsk Data takes over about 40 employees from Framfab in Lund and establishes itself in the science park IDEON. - We have been looking at Sweden as an interesting market for Mærsk for some time and are now building a sales organisation in the new company. At first, the employees in Lund will be assigned to existing projects within Mærsk Data. We constantly have use for more employees with the large demand we are experiencing, President Steen H. Knudsen, Mærsk Data, says. - Lund is a good starting point for establishing a company in Sweden. Lund is located near Copenhagen and has a good IT environment with very competent employees. Most of the employees taken over by Mærsk Data has a university degree within IT and has several years of experience in project leading, software-development or web design. The CEO of FRAMFAB, Johan Wall, is confident in selling to Marks Data. - We are now doing everything we can to ensure as many of the employees as possible a continued employment in other companies instead of laying them off. At the same time, this is a good step towards returning FRAMFAB to profitability. The deal will not in any way have effect on Framfab´s clients. For further information, please contact Steen H.
