Wezapp, a new company within Framfab The idea behind Wezapp is that customers should be able to do business immediately the decision to buy has been made on a first impression. When a listener hears a song on Radio Rix, he can immediately order the disk from CD-ON via his WAP phone and www.wezapp.com. Wezapp will in the future also be developing other e-commerce possibilities involving TV and the press. - Framfab is concentrating, among other things, on mobile Internet services since we are convinced that the mobile phone will complement the PC as the most common route to the Internet. Wezapp is an initial example of what is possible in a field where the next generation is already under development, says Peter Svanfeldt of Framfab. Wezapp is also an example of a business concept within Framfab being brought to reality under the aegis of a new company. The idea behind Wezapp originally came from Andreas Ströberg of Framfab's Mobile Internet Protocol (MIP) skill centre. The broad-band company was the first Framfab project to be unbundled. To MTG the collaboration with Wezapp means opportunities to supply the listener with mobile added value services at the same time as offering advertisers direct contact with listeners. - This service is a very important addition to current e-commerce initiatives within MTG Internet Retailing. Using Wezapp we can tie together all our media channels and offer better value to both customers and advertisers than has ever been possible up to now, says Peter Connée of MTG.
