Lea Bank ASA - Applying for a Swedish Banking License

Lea Bank has extensively explored opportunities for redomiciliation. The bank has now completed a Swedish banking license application, which will today be submitted to the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.

In just a few years, the bank has grown from a locally-based Norwegian bank to an internationally recognized niche bank. Lea Bank has over 65% of the lending volume outside Norway and has ambitions to continue strengthening its international distribution platform.

Depending on the outcome of the application, the bank will consider transferring the listing from Oslo Stock Exchange (Oslo Børs)to Nasdaq in Stockholm.

The application for a Swedish banking license will be filed by a Swedish subsidiary.
