LeadDesk, the European leader in cloud-based contact centre software, launched its new LeadDesk Talk app on the Salesforce CRM system’s AppExchange marketplace. The app brings customer service and sales teams a high-quality voice and SMS messaging channel within Salesforce.

"The product launch supports our enterprise sales and increases awareness of our LeadDesk cloud service solution. Expanding our partner ecosystem has been an important part of our growth strategy," says Olli Nokso-Koivisto, CEO of LeadDesk.

The LeadDesk Talk application allows Salesforce users to make and receive calls and send text messages to contacts in their CRM system. The app works directly within Salesforce. The app leverages LeadDesk's global call platform, which enables uninterrupted calls with high audio quality in all situations. 

"The Salesforce app brings LeadDesk's high-performance telco platform to an even wider customer base. The global platform is already used in more than 60 countries. Our platform is easy to integrate with other systems, so developing a native Salesforce application was not a big technical step," comments LeadDesk VP of Engineering Jarno Tenni.

Salesforce is the global market leader in CRM systems, with a market share of almost 23%*. More than 150,000 organisations are using the system. Through the AppExchange marketplace, Salesforce customers can purchase a variety of applications that extend the system's capabilities. Salesforce users can now easily verify the performance and suitability of the LeadDesk solution for their customer service or sales organisation. The application has already generated a promising pilot project for a significant global player.
