LeapFrog Interactive Opens Doors To New Building and Introduces New Services

Louisville, Ky. (05/25/2012) – After being known as the “Web” Agency on Linn Station Road for 13 years, the founding partners knew it was time for a change (both physically and metaphorically). LeapFrog Interactive has decided to reintroduce them-selves in the Louisville market. Their play? Have the coolest office space in Louisville AND solidify their place as the only full-service digital agency in the region.

LeapFrog aims to win more clients that value big ideas and creative thinking. This building is a step to visually showcase LFI’s capabilities and possibilities.

“We started as a web development and design company and while we’re proud of our beginnings, we also want to bring attention to our evolution into a full-service digital agency,” said Dan Knapp, CEO of LeapFrog Interactive. “Our new office building better represents our culture and capabilities.”

The new location at 2500 Technology Drive is a perfect blend of mixed-mediums that compliment each other, just like LFI’s creative and professional culture. The 55-person operation blends programmers with copywriters, Type A’s with free spirits and strategists with tacticians. Every member of the team contributes to LFI’s continued success. Their new office space has an open floor plan, promoting impromptu brainstorms, and open communication.

“Our old office space created a silo effect, keeping every department contained to their core group,” said Alan Gilleo, Chief Experience Office at LeapFrog Interactive. “When we bought the warehouse it was purposeful – we wanted to encourage melding between departments. We still conduct business through our LFI process, but now we can better infuse our culture into the process.”

The new space is 12,000 square feet and currently houses 55 employees with enough space to grow to a 70-person operation. Previously, the warehouse had been sitting empty for months and was going into foreclosure. Jeffersontown Mayor Bill Dieruf was part of the ceremony to help welcome LeapFrog to the neighborhood.

“We are excited to have a company of LeapFrog’s creative and professional caliber joining Bluegrass Commerce Park off Blakenbaker,” said Mayor Dieruf. “I personally hope that they serve as an example to other agencies and brands that Jeffersontown is a viable and economical place to bring your business.”

On Friday, May 25, 2012 LeapFrog Interactive officially opened its doors to the community. Guests at the grand opening event were able to tour the space and witness first hand the creative culture that exists at LeapFrog Interactive.
