This Pro-Bono Work Allows An Otherwise Impossible Re-Branding Effort

Louisville, Ky. (03/07/2012) – “GuardiaCare has had an impact in helping the elderly population since 1969,” said Susan Smith, Executive Director of GuardiaCare. “Recently, however, we have become lost in the shuffle of so many competing not-for-profits and we realized we needed to have a larger presence to help everyone in Louisville understand how GuardiaCare can help families with aging family members.”

GuardiaCare has been supporting independent stable living for Louisville’s elderly who are either physically or financially at risk since the late 1960’s. Now, they will have a better opportunity to reach community members who desperately need their services because LeapFrog Interactive is helping them develop a louder voice in the Louisville market.

Every year, LeapFrog Interactive, a full-service digital agency, chooses a local non-profit to adopt as a client. This year, after reviewing all of the local organizations submitted by employees, LeapFrog announced GuardiaCare as the 2012 recipient of their services.

“LeapFrog wants to help GuardiaCare take a huge step forward in the evolution of their brand,” said Alan Gilleo, Chief Creative + Experience Officer of LeapFrog Interactive. “Our goal is to build up their community recognition and give them the tools and training they need to be effective in our community.”

Whittled down from an initial pool of 12 applicants, GuardiaCare was selected by LeapFrog Interactive, to receive a complete “makeover” of their branding and marketing efforts totaling $200,000 of pro-bono work.

“We were blown away by the passion, determination, and dedication of the GuardiaCare organization,” said Dan Knapp, Chief Executive Officer. “We chose them because they are ready to move to the next level, and we believe LeapFrog can help re-brand them to be more of a presence in our community.”

GuardiaCare will receive LeapFrog’s expertise in the following areas: Strategy, Brand Standards, Digital and Traditional Asset Creation, and Media Asset Support. Work for the pro-bono client started in January and will continue through the end of the fiscal year.
