LEAX Group - Establish within Gear Development

Report this content

Consistent with our long-term strategy we have established a Gear Technology Team within the group function reporting to the CTO. Their mandate is to support our customers’ electrification and alternative energy programs through R&D and advanced engineering efforts, by leveraging our precision gearing and machined component competence.

Leading this new Team is Elias Häggström Director Gear Development.

Elias has worked at LEAX for 10 years  in different roles related to production engineering and industralization.

The Gear Technology Team supports customers with Gear Design (Macro and Micro Geometry Optimization), Gear Calculation (Bending and Surface Fatigue Calculation, Gear Durability Analysis),
NVH (Transmission Error, Tooth Contact Analysis) and Production Processes (Design For Manufacturing, Design For Assembly, Manufacturing Variability Simulation).

“I am highly motivated to be leading this initiative and see great opportunities for both LEAX and our customers entering the electrification era” says Elias Häggström.
