e-respect bought out of portfolio to be run by founders The founders and managers of e-respect, a computer software company, are to buy all the major shareholders' shares in the company for a symbolic amount. Ledstiernan is also entitled, under the terms of a mutual option agreement, to bring its holding up to 15 per cent. Apart from Ledstiernan with 24 per cent, other large shareholders include Zodiak Venture capital (15 per cent) and Bonnier Venture AB, which has 10.5 per cent. Ledstiernan has invested a total of MSEK 15.1 in the company. e-respect was founded in July 1999. The company's business idea is to offer a software-based communication solution for web-sites which has a high degree of specification and time-control and is entirely independent of e-mail addresses. e-respect's software creates a direct communication channel between companies and visitors to their sites on the visitors' terms. Using e-respect's software, companies can send information, offers, reminders and so on to their visitors, all tailored to meet the specific requirements of each individual visitor - without having to maintain a dedicated data base.
