Ekonomi24 receives capital injection of a further MSEK 9.3 Ledstiernan is making a follow-up investment of MSEK 2.4 in its portfolio company Ekonomi24, an internet-based business magazine focusing on the latest stock market and company news. In total Ekonomi24 will receive additional capital of MSEK 9.3. The main shareholders, NextGear Invest Ltd and Purpose AB, will together invest a total of MSEK 5.6 as part of the current issue, which will take their combined holding in Ekonomi24 up to 44 per cent. "During the autumn, Ekonomi24, like numerous other daily newspapers, will start to charge for the content of its site. In other words, it can look forward to an exciting autumn with new sources of income. We are encouraged that our main shareholders are backing us during this challenging new growth phase," says Thomas Peterssohn, Ekonomi24's President and editor-in-chief. "Ekonomi24 has quickly become one of the largest online business magazines in Sweden.
