Shareholders in Landsteinar International say yes to the merger with the Icelandic consulting company GoPro Group

Shareholders in Landsteinar International say yes to the merger with the Icelandic consulting company GoPro Group The merger between Landsteinar International and the Icelandic company GoPro Group has now reached a formal agreement. All the shareholders have accepted the offer to subscribe for shares in the new company. GoPro is Iceland's largest firm of consultants in e-business and e- document management systems. Landsteinar's business is concentrated on the sale and development of business management systems and turnkey solutions for specific industries, Internet and intranet products with a focus on the Navision Financials and information processing systems. Altogether GoPro and Landsteinar will employ more than 500 consultants on Iceland and in Sweden, Denmark, the UK and Germany. The largest shareholder in the merged company will be Icelandic Software Fund. After full dilution and exercise of options, Ledstiernan will own some 6 per cent of the shares in the new company and thereby becomes the third largest owner. Leif Almstedt from Ledstiernan will become board member and Per Bendix-Olsen from GoPro will take on the position as CEO.
