- LEGO Education Preschool Solutions, when implemented at a young age, spark an interest in learning by helping children develop fine motor skills, an understanding of the world around them, social and emotional understanding, and age-appropriate literacy and math skills.
- The schools will have access to Web-based teacher training that is customized to their environment.
NEWS RELEASE – November 27, 2012 – LEGO Education announced today that it is teaming up with early education provider Learning Care Group – the parent company of Childtime, The Children’s Courtyard, La Petite Academy, Montessori Unlimited, and Tutor Time – to implement a program in 90 schools in Utah and Florida. Each participating location received identical sets of LEGO DUPLO® products to implement across their block, math, art, pretend play, language, book, and nature centers. These early-learning-focused products give young children a springboard into hands-on learning to spark their creativity and imagination.
During the week of December 3, 2012, the schools will host a LEGO DUPLO Family Night, offering current and prospective families the opportunity to engage children ages 3-4 and their family members in activities involving imagination, problem solving, and up to eight learning-filled activities using LEGO DUPLO sets.
