LGP extends the acceptance period in the offer for Allgon With the aim to provide the shareholders in and holders of warrants issued by Allgon time to evaluate the nine-month earnings report presented on October 2, 2000, the Board of Directors of LGP has decided to extend the acceptance period in relation to the offer to the shareholders in and holders of warrants issued by Allgon up to and including Wednesday October 11, 2000. Provided that LGP has announced that the conditions for implementing the offer have been fulfilled or that LGP has otherwise decided to implement the offer no later than October 17, 2000, settlement is estimated to start on or about October 25, 2000.
