MEP Olle Schmidt is in Berlin to support FDP in the election on Sunday
Olle Schmidt, Member of the European Parliament (Folkpartiet Liberalerna, ALDE), is in Berlin to support the FDP Party in the elections on Sunday with a group of politicians from the Swedish Liberal Party, Folkpartiet Liberalerna. The delegation is campaigning with liberal politicians from Berlin. The outcome of the elections in Germany is important for Sweden and Europe.
- Germany has taken a great responsibility during the economic crisis and to hold the European Union together. Our colleagues in FDP is playing an important role in this process as a member of the government. It’s our responsibility to support liberalism in Europe and strengthen the ties between members of the ALDE party in Europe, says MEP Schmidt.
Olle Schmidt will join the FDP campaign in several districts in Berlin and meet Members of the Bundestag but also campaign with candidates such as Linus Vollmar, the youngest candidate in Germany.
MEP Olle Schmidt is a candidate to the position as Vice President of the ALDE Party.
