Lifco acquires Astro in Italy

Lifco has signed an agreement to acquire a majority of the shares in the Italian company Astro S.r.l. The company is a niche manufacturer of professional, high-quality and recyclable polyethylene tanks.
 

In 2022, Astro reported net sales of approximately EUR 9.1 million. The company is based in Bergamo, Italy and has 47 employees. Astro will be consolidated in Business Area Systems Solution, division Special Products. Consolidation is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2023.

The acquisition will not have any significant effect on Lifco’s earnings or financial position in the current financial year.
