The first customer in Spain for LifeAssays’ Canine-CRP system

IDEON, Lund ⎯ LifeAssays has signed an agreement with the Veterinary University in Barcelona, UAB. The Veterinary University evaluated LifeAssays’ Canine CRP system together with ”Hospital Clinico Veterinario” (see press release from 2011-03-01) and will now add CRP to the test services offered to external and internal customers.

”We have during our evaluations seen the value of CRP as a marker for systemic inflammation and in the follow up of treatment success and will immediately introduce the test in our emergency care” says Dr Luis Bosch at ”Hospital Clinico Veterinario”

In parallel an agreement has been signed with Dr. Anna Bassol, Director Clinical Veterinary section at UAB, to further document the clinical value of CRP through clinical studies “We are glad to continue the validations of CRP as a marker to be used in the daily routine of the veterinary. The test is simple to perform and gives reproducible and reliable results” says Dr. Bassol
