Intralink has entered an agreement with LightLab to develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for launching LightLabs technology in China. Intralink will play a fundamental role in gaining access to key target customers and guiding LightLab in establishing the right partnerships with top manufacturers in the region.

With its massive population and rapid economic development, China’s need for a better light source is imperative. Current lighting technology is either inefficient, environmentally hazardous or too expensive for general lighting needs. LightLab believes their technology is the solution the region has been waiting for. Based on a technique called field emission lighting, the technology produces light with great efficiency while eliminating the need for mercury.

Intralink CEO Gregory Sutch commented, "We are delighted to be working with LightLab to expand their business development activities in China. We believe LightLabs technology holds great potential for meeting China’s escalating lighting demands with an energy efficient, eco-friendly and affordable bulb.”

LightLab are excited about the possibilities working with local experts will unlock. CEO Jan-Erik Lennefalk commented, "We are confident that Intralink’ s professional network and more than 20 years' experience in the market will help us find the best partners in the region. Their expertise and deep knowledge of the cultural and commercial challenges in China, combined with an ability to quickly understand complex technical issues, will be invaluable for the introduction of LightLabs Technology in the region."
