107 Years old and still Flying High
The Nilfisk UK field sales team are looking stronger than ever and are reporting record figures for 2013. A great start to the year that celebrates their 107th birthday.
Nilfisk-Advance in the UK serves two distinct customer sectors, commercial and Industrial, with a sales team providing regional support in both areas. A team of National Account Managers take care of strategic account customers nationwide. This team concentrates on national accounts in specific sectors including contract cleaners, materials handling and municipalities. The entire UK team is supported by a logistics department that co-ordinates demonstrations and site surveys nationwide.
Collectively the Nilfisk sales team is larger than any other in the UK and provides greater coverage nationwide than any other commercial cleaning machine supplier. From Lands End to John O’Groats there is an experienced Nilfisk sales person to provide dedicated service and support irrespective of the application or nature of the customer.
The Nilfisk brand has long been synonymous with quality, which is certainly belied by the level of expertise and support available in the field. Site surveys are provided free of charge, the Nilfisk team work together with end users or Contractors as required offering customer demonstrations and feedback to confirm site recommendations and proposals.
The current success is due in no small part to the Closer to Market initiative that has seen stocks of fast moving machines, spare parts and accessories held in the UK. This development was driven by a real desire to react to the demands of the customer base for a faster flow of key products.
Nilfisk’s aim is to be the Customers’ Preferred Choice and they see this as delivering what their customers need, when they need it.
Nilfisk UK recently exhibited at the bi-annual Cleaning Show and had a record show. Leigh Mason, Sales Director commented on the successful result; ‘Our stand was incredibly busy, I am delighted to report that we took over 150 leads across the 3 days. We also enjoyed being visited by many existing clients who came to meet the team who support them. A definite success.’
Mr Peter Fisker founded Nilfisk in 1906 with only 2000 Kroner.
