3 Star 17 Bed Refurb in 3 Weeks
A Cambridgeshire based Joinery Company, Strata Panels, has manufactured bespoke bedroom furniture for a 4 star hotel in London against a tight 3 week deadline.
The 4 star Connaught House Hotel near London City Airport was converting staff accommodation into 17 top quality bedrooms to meet both the airport market and the forthcoming Olympics.
When a previous supplier was unable to meet the opening deadline Strata Panels were called in to design, quote, build and install.
Steve Evans, of the Connaught House Hotel explained the process; ‘I actually became aware of Strata Panels after seeing an editorial they ran about supplying 45 student bedrooms in 7 days. Speed was of the essence for us and they came promptly to assess our requirements.’
Each bedroom was different and required individual design to provide the best furniture combination. All furniture was made in 18mm thick melamine faced MDF panels in Lugano Oak. All units were finished with 2mm PVC edging to all exposed edges and high quality hinges and runners.
Furniture combinations included assorted beds, bed side units, wardrobes and desk units.
