Manor Events provides event management and high quality catering for clients wanting to hold a party, wedding or dinner party in their own home. Based in South Oxfordshire, the Manor Events team provides a sophisticated catering and event management service for private functions the local area.

Sharon Harper is the front person of Manor Events with over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality, restaurant and bespoke event management business. She thus brings a wealth of knowledge and creative ideas – whether your enquiry is for a wedding for 200 in a marquee in your garden, or a smart dinner party for 20 in your home. She works with clients from their initial enquiry and manages as much of the process as required to ensure that their event exceeds the expectations of the client and their guests.  Every event is unique and the team knows that every event is utterly important to the client.

Sharon has recently teamed up with Gary Hall who was bought up in the hospitality business in the Thames Valley and trained at the world famous Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.   Gary started his first business in 1975 sponsoring dedicated catering professionals and some of the finest chefs in London and the Thames Valley. His philosophy is simple: talent in customer service means that “nothing is ever too much trouble”. He believes it is important to do whatever is required to support and nurture his teams in their commitment to deliver the quality they promise.

Sharon has been personally responsible for hundreds of stylish and sophisticated weddings and parties for local hosts. No stone is unturned – Sharon’s attention to detail is second to none and she believes that planning a special occasion should always be an absolute pleasure.

Manor Events prides itself on providing a personal catering service for Berkshire and Oxfordshire with excellent cuisine from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Chefs are personally chosen by Sharon and Gary to work for Manor Events in order to create delicious menus that will inspire our clients and be memorable to their guests on that special occasion.
