There are very few country barn wedding venues that are bright and sunny when the sun shines and warm and welcoming whatever the weather. The Great Tithe Barn at Bix Manor just outside Henley on Thames is an enchanting exception.
Large south facing floor to ceiling windows let in the afternoon and setting sun and a huge fireplace open on four sides gives a warm welcome to guests as soon as they enter from the ever increasing unsettled weather that is forecast to be with us for a few years to come.
The lovely garden courtyard which leads directly from the Great Tithe Barn and the adjoining Library at Bix Manor is sheltered from high winds and allows guests to enjoy the glorious sunshine if it does decide to come out to play!
