'Your Country Needs you to Create Wealth'

O4RB the fast growing regional Business Network has announced a major event in Cambridge on the 24th September. The event entitled ‘Your Country needs you to Create Wealth’ offers opportunities for those businesses that would like to explore exporting in addition to those that wish to expand more locally. The event is a collaboration between O4RB, The Global Trade Network and The Inspired Group. Participants can network with members of all 3 organisations, sit down with the experts, book a clinic session and source collaboration opportunities. Individual advice is available so businesses are encouraged to come along with their ideas and details of their products and services. The key note speaker of the day is James Hammond ‘The Brand Doctor’, brand consultant and author of the best seller ‘Branding your Business.’ Retired Major, war veteran and founder of O4RB, Bob Garbett commented; ‘For some reason, businesses seem to think of exporting as boring or just for manufacturers but this country needs to create wealth and exporting is definitely the way ahead. It is important to think out of the box, be ambitious. There is no reason, for example, why training providers and consultants cannot consider exporting their services.’ The event comes at a time when the Government is calling on businesses to export to boost the flagging economy. David Kern, Chief Economist, commented last week on the July UK trade figures published by the ONS. ‘These figures are worse than expected, showing a fall in exports and a rise in imports.
