ATLANTA, October 24, 2011 – Businesses operating in the homecare industry are faced with ever-changing economic environments that demand perseverance and flexibility in order to stay successful. At the 2011 Medtrade Exposition in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 25-27, 2011, LifeGas experts will be available to discuss ways for homecare companies to overcome these challenges.

LifeGas is the U.S. medical gas business of Linde North America, a member of The Linde Group, a world-leading gases and engineering company. LifeGas was one of the first medical gas companies to deliver oxygen directly to patients’ homes on behalf of homecare providers.  As the only accredited medical gas manufacturer, LifeGas serves as a subcontractor to the homecare and long-term care business sectors.

The Medtrade Conference and Expo provides representatives of the home medical equipment (HME) industry the opportunity to connect with hundreds of exhibitors offering the latest products, services and education to meet the challenges they face.

In booth #1658, LifeGas will feature its range of homecare offerings, including the flexible O2Shield® home oxygen solution and the OXYTRAVEL® travel oxygen coordination. Experts will be on hand to discuss these and other LifeGas solutions and how they can provide products and services to meet specific customer needs.

“LifeGas offers uniquely designed programs enabling homecare companies to achieve lean efficiency processes by merging traditional oxygen services and strategic placement of new technology such as the HomeLox® liquefier to remain competitive, profitable and successful,” said Anthony Eafrati, LifeGas homecare market manager.

“We understand that most of our customers’ costs relative to traditional oxygen cylinders are in delivery expenses. This poses a problem when you have customer-owned cylinder inventory and patients that need them. We save our O2SHIELD customers time and money by filling and delivering their inventory directly to the patient, cutting out several unnecessary and costly steps. We also understand that it is equally important to invest in new technology when it is best for the patient and our customers.”

At its booth, a LifeGas industry consultant will be present to discuss current and expected regulations relating to subcontracting oxygen services, particularly the O2Shield home oxygen solutions. LifeGas and its representatives look forward to discussing its products, programs, and solutions for the homecare industry.

The Linde Group is a world-leading gases and engineering company with around 49,100 employees working in more than 100 countries worldwide.
