Stockmann plans to pilot new concepts in Itis shopping centre starting spring 2023

Changes will be made at the Stockmann department store at the Itis shopping centre starting spring 2023. Stockmann plans to pilot new concepts in Itis. The planning of the changes will start immediately, and we will announce the changes later. A new lease contract was negotiated in connection with the restructuring programme, and the lessor at Itis has now decided to use its option to partly terminate the contract.
 

The operations of the Itis Stockmann department store will be reviewed, which is expected to have an impact on the number and structure of the Itis department store’s personnel. We launched change negotiations on 25 August 2022 and they concern the entire personnel of the Itis department store. The employees now at Itis will have good opportunities to continue to work at other Stockmann units.

During the alteration work, the Itis Stockmann department store will serve its customers and the store will stay open as normal.
