Head of Lindex International appointed

News Release Head of Lindex International appointed As announced in an earlier news release, Lindex's operations in Norway, Finland and Germany have been merged into a Section with the name Lindex International. The Head of the Section is included in Lindex's Senior Management. The Presidents of Lindex's subsidiaries in the three countries will report direct to the Head of Lindex International. Anders Jansson has been appointed Head of the Section. Anders Jansson is currently Marketing Manager of Lindex AB, a post he has held for just under three years. Before that, he was responsible for Lindex's Swedish store operations for more than two years. Anders Jansson joined the Lindex Group in 1990 and has got to know the operations intimately from his different areas of work. Anders Jansson will start his new job on 1 January and on the same date will take over the post of Acting President of Lindex Oy, Finland, a post which Hans Johansson, President and CEO of the Lindex Group, has held since June 1998. Anders Jansson will continue with the recruitment of a new President for the Finnish company which has already been initiated. "Anders Jansson's intimate knowledge of the Lindex concept and his powerful leadership is a significant strength in its implementation and the quality assurance on our retail markets outside Sweden in which the majority of our future investments will be carried out," says Hans Johansson in a comment on the appointment.
