Jörgen Johansson new President of Lindex The President of Lindex, Hans Johansson, has informed the company's Board of Directors that he wishes to step down during summer 2001. Jörgen Johansson, currently President and CEO of Saba Trading AB, has been appointed as Hans Johansson's successor. Saba Trading is the leading importer and distributor of fruit, vegetables and flowers with sales of SEK 3.7 billion. Jörgen Johansson, 52, who will take over as President not later than during August 2001, also has experience of senior management positions in companies such as Electrolux, most recently as President of Husquarna Sewing Machines. Hans Johansson has led Lindex's operations for more than 10 years under different owners, including ICA, and as a listed company. "Hans Johansson has played a crucial role in the creation of the current Lindex," says Birgitta Johansson-Hedberg, Chairwoman of Lindex. "We greatly value his work and are very pleased that he is willing to stay on with us for some time as an adviser." "After 10 years as President I feel the time is right to enter a new phase of my life," says Hans Johansson. "My time at Lindex has been very exciting.
