Lindex’s customers donate 1.2 million euro to cancer research
With joined forces and great commitment, Lindex has together with its customers raised 1.2 million euro to cancer research.
“Thanks to the fantastic commitment of our employees and customers, we show once again that when we unite our efforts we can make a difference. It feels important that we together can contribute to cancer research so more people can survive and less people are affected by cancer”, says Susanne Ehnbåge, Lindex CEO.
During the first weekend in October, Lindex donated 10 percent of the sales on all 18 markets and on lindex.com to cancer research. Lindex also donated the entire profit of an umbrella and a shopper that Lindex designed especially for the cause. There has also been sales of pink ribbons and other local activities on Lindex’s sales markets. This year Lindex has together with its customers, on all markets, raised a total of 1.2 million euro.
Lindex has since 2003 dedicated October to contribute to cancer research, a field of research that makes new progress every year thanks to donations from companies and individuals.
